Thank you to all of you that gave me advice, I am happy to say that Wesley hasn't thrown any pretzels at me recently. Things are getting better, I just needed to be more persistent with him and now he knows I'm in charge, well most of the time anyway!

I need help!!!!

Attention all you perfect mothers out there I need your help. I had to see this face above for about 30 minutes straight today and it wasn't fun. Wesley is almost two and with that comes a lot of tantrums, so I have heard. I'm looking for some advice on how to deal with them, today was his worst yet. So earlier today Wesley saw that I was drinking orange juice and he wanted some, I gave him a sip of mine right before I put him down for a nap. Well two hours later he woke up from that nap and wanted more orange juice, I refused to give some because if I do then he wont drink anything else. Well as you can see he didn't like that, so for the next 30 min he spent his time screaming, head butting me, hitting me, pouring the pretzels out of there container and then he proceeded to throw them at me. The picture was taken in mid pretzel throw. So obviously I put him in time out but that didn't work very well, all he did was scream and sign that he was sorry over and over again! So I'm looking for suggestions. Please I'm desperate. I have to stop him now before he gets worse!!!!
